Sober Podcast 424 - No Control

There are lots of things going on in the world that we don’t have any control over… and some things, we do.

For sure, right now, if we aren’t taking care of our mental health, then we’re not going to be very good at much else.

Sometimes ALL we can do is work on our internal world. We take care of the inside of our heads. Sure, there are ‘other worries’ in the world, but they’re not OUR worries.

Because when it comes down to it, the things we can control are inside us. We don’t control a global pandemic. We don’t control what other people think of us.

And you’ll say, “But Belle, there’s so much need out there.”

And I’ll say, “There’s so much need IN HERE.”

You do you, first. Then you fix the world.
