This podcast is in response to an email I received from Romey: "My new friend asked by text if I drank and did drugs. I had to let her know I was working on sobriety. She was very supportive and said the sweetest thing, she would “honor” that. But I felt awful … I’m not good with setting boundaries around that sort of thing. Very much an enneagram 2 in that way.”
So in this audio I talk about perhaps being a certain personality type, and how do we evolve ‘up’ through that, and into a better version of us.
Are you a person with lots of empathy, often of service to others, and not able to fill your own gas tank at the same time (so that you end up feeling drained and stressed)? Yes? This would be most everyone in my inbox :) have a listen to the audio and let me know what you think.
This audio was recorded live on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 while I was baking cake. I burnt the first cake earlier in the morning, and so for the second one, I was hanging around the stove ‘just in case’, so that I didn’t have the same result the second time … learning from mistakes, as it were. Staying closer, watching more carefully. Trying different.
