Sober Podcast 353 - How to use sober skills to do other stuff

This is an audio i recorded for a sober penpal who wants to quit smoking. If you'd like to quit (or adjust) something like shopping, or gambling, or pain medication, or food things—after you've been sober for a while—then what kinds of tools can you use (and still protect your sobriety, of course).
Here's the original email I received:
Luckiest Jo (day 480): “I want to stop smoking but the voice that wants to smoke is really loud. The crap is the same as when it was loud about drinking. I read the sober stuff and have listened to the audios and the recording recently about how Wolfie is an anus but I need this in your voice without the word drinking. It's frustrating because I have stopped drinking but now even with the how-to, I am not applying it to smoking. I know you are a sober coach so you don't have to use the word smoking but if the audio is along the lines of Wolfie is an anus and can still be loud when trying to make other changes that would be good and obviously anything you think is relevant from my email. As always swearing is great. Hugs."
So have a listen to my audio reply, and tell me if some of this might apply to you too.
hugs, belle xo
