Peewit sent me an email about manipulative mothers and fragile egos. She says “my mother was mad about her pen being lost, and so she cried.” If her mother is crying about a pen, then that probably tells us that she’s about 9 years old inside.

Can see someone with compassion if you think they’re 9 years old?

And do all of us struggle with boundaries? Sure, probably. Especially with our parents. But it's much improved when you’re sober.
